I was born in a small village in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. I am the 8th child of 10 and the first member of the family to move out from home at the age of 15 to get my education. My first language is Huasteco (Native language in Mexico). my second language is Spanish, and my third one is English. I attended college in Chapingo Autonomous University, majoring in Plant Pathology.
I have three daughters, one is a high school science teacher, the second one graduated is a research assistant, and my little one is a fifth grader.
