As a Freshman at Assumption College, I hope to expand my experience in many fields, using the liberal arts education to follow my goals. I have a deep appreciation of the liberal arts, especially when music or classical languages and books are involved and I hope to utilize my interests in the future towards a major which I can continually enjoy studying and applying to my life. As a Computer Science major, I plan to bring my experience of learning to engage with the study of programming. The Liberal Arts have definitely made it easier to obtain a more grounded basis of my own life and where I would like to go while Computer Science gives that learning a place to grow in my life.
