My name is Isaura Alvarez, I am an undergraduate student enrolled at the University of Rhode Island's Kinesiology Program. I plan on graduation from the University of Rhode Island(URI) in August of 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree focused on Cardiac Rehabilitation. I am an experienced Resident Advisor with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Microsoft Word, environmental impact assessment, public speaking, management, and administrative assistance. I love to volunteer as much as I can during the summer and during school. I am part of various clubs at URI which has helped me become a voice in my community.

Seeds of Success (SOS) is a student-run organization focused on helping underrepresented CELS students attain a holistic educational experience at URI. The University of Rhode Island Spots Medicine Club
The Sports Medicine Club is primarily composed of (but not exclusive to) kinesiology majors who come together as a team to explore different career options in the field. Professionals such as physical therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers, coaches, physicians, and massage therapists are invited each semester to talk about what they do in an average workday, and their educational experience.
