Isela Ruiz

I am a first generation Latina, born and raised in Arizona now living in South Dakota. Im the first to graduate college in my family, twice! I am here chasing my dream of becoming a pediatric nurse. I hope to one day provide care for the children of immigrants in underfunded clinics. I am a mother of two beautiful children, a wife to my wonderful husband of 12 years, I have four supportive sisters, many nieces and nephews, and an amazing mother supporting and pushing me along the way.
