Johanna Roman

Recent graduate with a Bachelors in Nursing at Goodwin University in East Hartford, CT. An active member in American Nursing Association, Connecticut Nursing Association and National Association of Hispanic Nurses. I am a self-driven, motivated, and ambitious individual with a desire to continue my education, while doing what I love, which is Community Nursing. I do have a new found desire to learn more about Public Health Nursing, so lets see where this take me. I am working as a Registered Nurse, in home care. Starting my journey to obtain a Master degree in nursing summer 2020. I am passionate and dedicate to my clients and with the support of my agency, I continue to provide my clients with direct patient-centered, quality care. I am bilingual in Spanish, which enables me to communicate effectively with clients in the community that are predominately speaking only. I would like to continue with my education to earn a Masters, and become an APRN with a focus in Family Medicine. I am working to open my own home care agency and would love to be an APRN providing in home services. Nursing is a life -long learning journey and I am determined to accomplish my many goals. .
