Working with our endpoint security tool to provide easy-to-read and formal key performance metrics using Power BI, to be used on the Executive level and throughout IT.

Throughout this internship, I was focusing on providing visibility to the employees of the company. My role was to utilize data from third party and in house sources to create different means of communication to the employees.

One of the major projects I worked on was based on cybersecurity threats throughout the business. I created seven different dashboards focusing on endpoint security, device management, cybersecurity incidents, etc.

During my second year as an intern, I helped create a vulnerability sandbox for testing vulnerabilities that a company might experience. The goal is for our cybersecurity professionals to know and understand vulnerabilities that are being created every day, so they know how to combat and protect from them.

I also helped plan a penetration test for three of our sites and both of our data centers. Every fiscal year, we do an internal, external and targeted penetration test.

This Internship was unique as I became a true employee for the summer. I completed day to day operations with my colleagues and had the opportunity to learn current cybersecurity trends in a global manufacturing company.

Utilized PowerBI to create a new analytics dashboard.
Managed the phish mailbox daily as well as training a new hire.
Assisted in creating an app to help with employee transfers.
Cleaned and organized various shared excel files.
Project Manager of a new IGA (Identity Governance & Administration) Solution for Kimball International.
Built and deployed a new Mac for a software developer.
