Jacob Krischel

Finance and Marketing student in the Henry B. Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. The opportunities presented at a major Big Ten University, coupled with my past work experiences has prompted an eagerness to work with those who are passionate in their profession/studies. I plan to combine my knowledge from the classroom with my background in data modeling to work as an analyst, providing information necessary to effectively meet consumers needs. I am working to be in an industry that is consistently innovating, as I thrive in an environment where I am constantly learning. Currently, I am a Marketing Intern for The University of Iowa Research Foundation and heavily involved in fundraising that is imperative to sustain growth in Iowas educational and extracurricular programs. Additionally, I am beginning a field project involving consumer behavior and response to local food initiatives for the Johnson County Food Council. I am pursuing further opportunities to develop professionally and seeking mentorship as I approach graduation. Overall, my goal is to make each day a new and exciting experience through work, travel, and building friendships/relationships.
