From Capistrano Beach, CA
Retired Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. In which I proudly served 6 years and 2 months, during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Since my last medical review board back in 2007 I have struggled along the way, as many other combat disabled veterans have in the past, present, and future will. For which with the title and job of those who serve and served in combat. However I have continued my mission as my title of a USMC Sgt. Always maintaining our codes and conduct, as Marines we know what it means to lead from the front, and we never leave a warrior behind, always strive for mission readiness & accomplishment for me it has been focused on assisting retired, medically retired, and active duty personnel to find resolve around complicated combat related injuries, often associated around troubling (negative) reoccurring thoughts associated with PTSD, fears, phobias, anxiety, & depression. In which led me to CLU, here I have found not only several of the answers about PTSD, that I was desperately trying to find not only for myself but rather for other veterans in need. Here at CLU I have found mentors and leaders, that are truly dedicated and resourceful in helping me to discover more than I have space or time to discuss here. I am proud to be an alumni member of CLU and will carry on the expectations I have been held to here to ensure that I will never leave a wounded member of the armed forces behind but to offer them resources and tools to help them move past their injuries and troubling thoughts that I have obtained from all of my professors here at CLU.
