Undergraduate Research Assistant at Garcia Research Lab, Georgia Tech
I make different formulations of PEG-based hydrogels and use microfluidic devices to test their antimicrobial properties. Our goal is to eventually use the hydrogels for bone repair and regrowth, while minimizing the risk of bacterial infection and biofilm formation at the repair site. My recent work involves designing and testing different experimental setups to improve the consistency of our results and minimize the wait time on our experiments.
