In my career, I have had the pleasure of advocating for young children and families since 2010, through many venues, and would like to continue my journey by supporting my community along with educating children and families. I believe strongly in building a curriculum that is driven by social development and self-regulation skills, as those are essential to school readiness. Academic skills are taught along the way through intentional materials, small group experiences, and emergent teachable moments. I have implemented an assessment tool that allows me to assess childrens development based on Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards and seconds as a self-assessment tool. This allows me to be effective, efficient, and through in my childrens learning goals and professional development. I could be an asset to your company because I am a creative, outside the box thinker, and my passion for my work inspires me to go above and beyond to ensure Im performing best practices. I also understand that the definition of best practices, along with the needs of every child, are ever changing. I believe my passion and work ethic are contagious and I see it inspire those around me.
