Janica Tempero

Janica Tempero, Ed.S. is a passionate and accomplished K-12 educator and instructional leader based in Montgomery, Alabama. With over seven years of experience in elementary education, she has served in a variety of impactful roles including Math/Literacy Instructional Supervisor, Technology Coordinator, and Afterschool Program Facilitator at Thelma Smiley Morris Elementary School. Driven by a commitment to student success and school improvement, Janica excels in instructional leadership, curriculum development, staff coaching, and fostering inclusive learning environments. She has played a key role in organizing and managing enrichment programs, mentoring new educators, and leading technology integration initiatives that enhance student engagement and school operations. Janica holds an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology and a Masters in Instructional Leadership from Auburn University at Montgomery. She is currently a doctoral candidate pursuing an Education Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Instructional Systems and Learning with a concentration in Instructional Technology. Her leadership extends beyond the classroom through involvement in multiple committees, coaching programs, and community-based initiatives such as Girls on the Run and robotics teams. A recognized educator and emerging school leader, Janica is CPR certified and affiliated with several professional organizations including the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, and The National Society of Leadership & Success. She continues to inspire excellence in education through collaboration, innovation, and a student-centered approach.
