Jashira Jose Alvarez

My name is Jashira I. Jos Alvarez, a committed, responsible, and organized professional with an academic background that includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice and ongoing graduate studies in Clinical Social Work. I am currently pursuing my masters degree at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, Arecibo campus, and I am a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. I have gained experience in the field of social services through my practicum with the Department of the Family (ADFAN), where, under supervision, I participated in the management and handling of cases related to reports of neglect, abuse, and mistreatment of both minors and older adults. I possess skills in effective communication, confidential information management, and teamwork, excelling in environments that require social sensitivity, ethics, and professionalism. My mission is to contribute to the social and emotional well-being of individuals with responsibility, empathy, and commitment; above all, to bring hope to those in vulnerable stages of life and to be a guide in their process of healing and growth.
