Phillip Boyd Jr

Majoring in Human Services
University of the Cumberlands
From Mt. Sterling, Kentucky
My name is Phillip Boyd Jr., and I am proud to say I am a recovering addict. After 22 years of battling addiction, I achieved my sobriety on June 4, 2022. Since then, I have embraced my role as an Adult Peer Support Specialist at Ethan Health in Richmond, KY, and as a Recovery Coach for Voices of Hope. My life's work today is to empower others dealing with addiction and mental health issues. I am enthusiastic about helping people find the freedom I have found. I have always wanted a life for myself, and I am living it by asking God for forgiveness and living in accordance with His plan. Every day, I get to see genuinely amazing experiences because I completely trust the road He has laid out for me!
