Anticipate each customer's needs, personalize each experience with a customer, connect with each customer to learn more about their personal preferences, and own each experience with confidence and knowledge to guide customers through any questions or concerns regarding Starbucks.
Besides creating the perfect beverage, all of the above apply to creating a "third place" to customers. "Third place" means a customer's third place of refuge - after their home and place of work. Therefore, to create this space for customers, I cleaned off tables and floors, restocked the condiments bar, emptied trash, and made sure everything was always set for the comfort of our customers.
