I'm Jenna Rifer, a 2016 graduate of the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with a Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Science. I am a current DVM student in the UNL/ ISU Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2021. I'm originally from a little nowhere town in Northeast Nebraska called Verdigre, NE. I love learning, interacting with others, solving problems, and I have a strong sense of compassion for animals. I look forward to being able to serve my community as a veterinarian through the promotion of both public and an animal health, and especially through the enhancement of the human-animal bond between my clients and patients. I am particularly interested in companion animals and exotic pets. The veterinary profession is one that encompasses a wide variety of opportunities, and I'm excited to undertake the diverse opportunities and challenges that it provides me.
