Jenny Letterman

Pursuing a degree in Nursing has been a long-standing goal. I initially started going to college in 2018 while I still worked full-time as a hairstylist in Florida and raised my three children. I focused on achieving my AA and completing all my prerequisites before starting nursing classes. Although many life events caused me to put my school goals on hold, I never stopped pursuing them. Once I moved to South Carolina, I had the fantastic opportunity to attend Coker University and apply for the BSN program. Once accepted, I enrolled in additional general education classes to complete the bachelor's portion of my degree before starting the Nursing courses. I am now entering my final year of courses, and I am a fourth-semester nursing student. My goal is to become a NICU Registered Nurse once I have graduated and passed the NCLEX. The nursing school process is long and strenuous, and it has shown me how strong I am and continue to become. I am looking forward to the final stretch of nursing classes and clinical with my fellow nursing friends, who have become my second family, as well as all the continued growth in this field.
