Hi, my name is Suzette Simmonds. I was born in Jamaica, then migrated to the US in 2008. Upon my arrival in Florida, my first employment was at Five Star Jamaican Bakery, where I was employed as a cashier. I then worked for Infinity Behavioural Health as a Collections Claim Specialist. After the pandemic, an offer was presented to me at Connexion Point where I was employed as a Healthcare Communications Agent. I acquired my high school diploma from Pen Foster College, then moved on to Broward College where I achieved an Associate Degree in Health Information Technology/ Coding II. Here at SNHU, I'll continue working towards obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration and Management. This road has not been easy for me from the beginning, but with perseverance, drive, motivation, dedication, and commitment, I have overcome it. This was a real challenge for me over the past few years. But if I can reach my gold and continue climbing the ladder of success, anyone can if you put your mind to it. Remember, with faith, trust, and belief in God we can conquer and overcome all odds. Presently, I'm an employee at Pentecostal Tabernacle International INC, located in Miami Florida. I'm currently working in the accounts department as a data entry specialist. I will graduate in November with a bachelor of science degree in healthcare administration. I was just a vessel God used to complete his degree and for this, I'm internally grateful.
