July, 31 2017 - Verified by Hofstra UniversityThis was a six weeks paid apprenticeship by application that I was fortunate enough to participate in. Each week we would be assigned new prompts for our writing in nonfiction, poetry, or creative short stories. We were given the opportunity to write in the Mark Twain House as well as meet with staff regularly to better understand Twain'so history and the making of a museum. At the end of the program, we organized a showcase that featured our works inspired by the program in a large performance piece.
