I have been happily married to my husband since 1999. I graduated from Wallace State-Hanceville with my ADN in May 2005. Since then, I have been working as an RN in various settings and roles. I am currently a Faculty Member in the Nursing and Health Sciences Department at Snead State Community College. I received my BSN in August 2019, MSN-FNP in May 2022, and DNP in August 2023 - all from JSU. I would like to continue teaching in some capacity. Eventually, I would also like to open a family health and wellness clinic focusing on improving access and outcomes for low-income, rural communities. There are some pretty creative ways FNPs are making healthcare available to these communities and I would like to be a part of the solution.

Participated in in-house, conference call, & regional business meetings with LTC owners/companies to initially market, then individualize & trouble-shoot the services.
