Full-Stack Software Developer at InterSoft Associates

After completing the Co-op program with this company, I was offered a position as a full-stack software developer. I continued using C# and SQL Server to create features for client applications and testing the code updates using methods such as A/B testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and negative testing. I developed front-end user interfaces while creating/modifying database tables and stored procedures to ensure compatibility with evolving application requirements. By collaborating with clients and internal teams, I consistently delivered efficient solutions that met project goals and deadlines.

Software Developer Intern at InterSoft Associates

This internship was part of the Co-op program at New York Tech, where I worked with the company full-time for 6 months. I collaborated with a team of other interns to create WPF (C# and XAML) applications while utilizing SQL Server for back-end development. Additionally, I worked on tasks for clients to add new screens and modify existing features in their web application.

Quantum CNN Applications for Image Classification: A Comparative Study with Classical CNNs
For my Master's Thesis project (not yet published), I am developing Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models for both classical and quantum computers. My research focuses on the application of these models for image classification tasks, specifically to compare their robustness to noisy input images. In order to test if quantum CNNs have higher robustness to noise, both models are first evaluated with clean data as a baseline and then with noisy data, where I added artificial Gaussian corruption to the images.

Simple CNN Comparison to ResNet50 Model
This was a project for my deep learning class, where we aimed to study and evaluate two convolutional neural network models on the CIFAR-10 dataset. The ResNet model is utilized to increase efficiency in training by using pre-trained weights, while also preventing potential issues such as the vanishing gradient problem that occur in deep CNNs.

Generating Synthetic Handwritten Numbers Using DCGAN
A project for my deep learning class where we created a deep convolutional generative adversarial network (DCGAN) to attempt to mimic real handwriting. Different hyperparameters were tested in order to find the most optimal choices that generate the most realistic looking fake images.

Web Application for Employee Scheduling and Payroll Management
For my senior project of my undergraduate degree, my group collaborated with a real company that schedules valet parkers to various locations. Our team developed a web application to streamline employee scheduling, track hours worked, and manage payroll. The app allowed employees to log in and view their schedules, while managers could assign shifts to specific locations and monitor employee performance. I was responsible for the front-end development, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design the entire user interface, including the login system and screens for both the employee and manager portals. The app also featured an automated payroll system that calculated weekly salaries based on hours worked.

Chatbot Design Proposal
This was a class project for an AI course focused on the design and functionality of chatbots. We were tasked with creating an original idea for a chatbot and writing a detailed report on the plan for designing it. Included is decision tree and wait-state diagrams, along with other technical information such as the target users/use cases, required resources, sample end points and error handling, and plans for training and testing the bot.
