Jonathan Fleischman is a recent graduate of Ithaca College, having studied Music Education and Viola Performance. He has taken extensive course studies in music history and theory, as well as music education, conducting, and performance studies. Future plans include teaching choral and/or instrumental music in schools, and then studying towards a graduate degree in Curriculum Development or Educational Policy. Instrumental instructors have included Roberta Crawford, Debra Moree, Cassandra Sulbarn, David Quiggle, and William Frampton. He has studied conducting with Mark Fonder, Cynthia Johnston Turner, and Steven Peterson.

Long Term Substitute Music Teacher at Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca

Responsibilities include teaching general music courses to students grades Pre-K through 6, directing choruses for grades 3-6, and directing the school-wide spring play. Other duties include working with the faculty and staff to create a wholesome, rigorous education for students that helps them become lifelong, self-motivated learners, and assisting with other projects as needed.
