For completion of our senior capstone project, two colleagues and I have teamed up with CFP. As the semester progresses, we plan to analyze a sister company's visual management system, specifically called Gemba. This is a Japanese-influenced management style, meaning 'on-site', that keeps costs and material usage low, while maximizing labor efficiency. We will travel to St. Louis to observe the system in action, and report back to CFP with our input and final recommendations.
