Kutztown University National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. The Vision Statement
of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race. We have resurrected the organization on the Kutztown University Campus in the year 2014 and fight for the equal rights for all students on campus.

During the activity day, General Bunk Counselors travel with their bunk of campers and actively assist and participate in all activity areas with them. General Bunk Counselors do not need to have any expertise in any one particular area, but definitely need to be willing to try everything, especially since they are going to be a motivator and encourager to their campers.Group leaders help Director and Head Counselors run staff training and development. Get to know staff and help them understand their role and responsibilities. Group Leaders feedback on staff will help in division and bunk placement.
