Julie McDonald
Julie has been playing the piano since age 6 and clarinet since age 9. She graduated 17th in her class from West Haven High School in 2012, and enrolled at Miami University that fall. She is studying music, with the intent to pursue a career in teaching and/or musicology. She will graduate this May (2016) with her Bachelor of Arts in Music.

I've held the positions of Archivist and Band Board Liaison for 3 semesters now, and am the current Editor. As Archivist, I manage the chapter website (www.musai.webstarts.com), maintain the scrapbook, & update the chapter history. As Band Board Liaison, I am the first point of contact for the MUMB Band Board & help maintain smooth cooperation between both organizations. As Editor, I am responsible for all publicity, as well as creating a newsletter and submitting the annual yearbook directory.

Personal Assistant at Heidi Thaens
I assist Heidi (an 83-year-old who lives in Long Island, NY) with anything and everything regarding her unit at Presidio Commons in New Haven, CT. My responsibilities include organizing, packing, and cleaning, as well as arranging the donation or sale of items, and the shipment of others. I also meet with various professionals who need to inspect/assess/appraise/repair the property.

Student Specialist - Dining Services at Miami University
As a student employee at Maplestreet Station, I have worked in four different smaller dining locations (Americas, Red Brick, Encounter, and First Stop) serving a variety of foods and doing a variety of tasks.
At Americas I make salads, work the register (which includes taking orders), and make burritos, as well as bus tables and the work area.
At Red Brick I press, prep, cook, and serve pizzas, make sandwiches, and work the register.
In Encounter, I take orders at the register, serve food, bus tables, and make milkshakes.
In First Stop, I have worked both in the kitchen as expo, making sure orders are complete and correct, and in the dining room, hosting, serving, and busing.
I also have experience working in the back of the house, both in dish room as well as stocking overflow storage and drink coolers.
