Student Assistant at Intercultural Diversity Center
Maintain consistent working schedule in center.
Assist in successfully planning and executing programming in center.
Assist in the administrative operation of the center by taking messages, scheduling reservations, responding to e-
mail and/or social media messages on behalf of the center, contacting campus partners and community agencies.
Maintain center documents.
Be present at assigned center programs.
Assist in the physical maintenance of the center facility by reporting structural damages to building coordinator,
assisting in daily cleaning and upkeep of center, tracking the use of center property, safely securing the building at the close of shift or center hours, and securely closing- securing the center for university designated breaks or holidays.
Assist in maintaining a speaker's bureau: a listing of staff and/or students willing to speak on issues relevant to the centers constituency groups.
Assist in development of Open House and End of the Year Meeting.
Attend monthly center staff meetings, all staff meetings, and professional development trainings as scheduled.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
