December, 18 2020 - Verified by University of Mount UnionI am a seasonal employee of At Home. I am training in being a cashier and working on the floor. As a cashier I am engaging with customers to offer help, check them out, make returns, help find if items are in stock, and make sure that they had an enjoyable shopping experience. While working on the floor, I stock the inventory in the proper section, organize the inventory to be visually appealing to the customers, and make price changes to products when needed. Additionally, when on the floor I help customers find items and answer questions they may have.
In the 2024 travel basketball season, I coached two 7th grade girls basketball teams primarily and assisted with 6th and 8th grade girls teams as well. I attend 1-2 practices each week and travel to 5 tournaments to coach about 6 games or more on average.
My job entails being head of Catholic campus ministries on campus. This includes all things leading up to and including Mass on Sundays as well as communicating with the local Catholic parishes. I email and schedule priests for Mass. I create PowerPoints for each Mass. I prepare the Chapel for Mass weekly, utilize the PowerPoint during Mass, and tear down after the completion of Mass. Additionally, I communicate with the campus for Mass as well as the local community via email, messages, and social media. Furthermore, I also communicate between the local Catholic parishes and the Catholic campus community. This includes with Advent and Lenten related services, projects, and retreats. Finally, I was fortunate to be involved in Board of Trustee meetings, write and present the invocation at the Honors Convocation on SCHOLAR Day, and I was an acolyte at the Baccalaureate the night before my graduation.
I coached freshmen girls (9th grade) and high school boys (9th-12th grade) in multiple tournaments in different cities for the spring 2023 travel basketball season. I assisted with other girls teams from 8th grade to seniors in high school during practices and when needed at basketball tournaments.
2022-2023 (Junior) - I help students sign-up for the resource center and show them around, stock shelves, wash clothes, hang-up clothes, and answer questions from other students.
2023-2024 (Senior) - I oversee donation collection and complete outreach to the physical plant. Additionally, I continue to assist students in signing up at the resource center for each semester as well as welcoming students into the new Raider's Cove for this school year.
I welcome clients in and help set up for clients to come in for certain workout times. I talk with clients ranging from grade school to older adults and everything in between. I answer any questions asked to me as well as help lead both group and individual sessions. I help with spotting, cleaning up bars, explaining exercises and movements, and setting up timed gates for running. Additionally, I create workouts for the daily open training and METCON sessions. I help clean the gym as well as the equipment.
I assisted Life Science Connect in contacting individuals using LinkedIn for different virtual events and lectures that may relate to their field and profession. I also sent out reminder emails to sign up and worked on developing LinkedIn profiles. I cleaned databases to have correct data, contacts, and companies.
