Karina Luis

I am an undergraduate student in the School of Communication Studies at James Madison University. I am expected to graduate in the Spring of 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Communication, a concentration in Public Relations, and a Minor in Spanish. I am interested in the field of Public Relations and how start-ups build and maintain positive relationships with their publics. Pointedly, I have an interest in the direction of Marketing Public Relations, as I identify with the idea of speaking to a consumer public. Moreover, the idea of working with a marketing team for a start-up corporation not only excites but energizes me. I feel that they will provide me with an opportunity to grow with the company and really feel like part of the team. Furthermore, I see my professional future as a Public Relations practitioner heading in the direction of Marketing Public Relations. As I take my place in the field of Public Relations, I hope to grow into a reliable, career-driven professional who strives for success and excellence in my every endeavor.
