February, 10 2017 - Verified by The University of AlabamaAs a Summer intern I was given many opportunities to gain an understanding of how to run a successful business. I performed miscellaneous duties as needed at the warehouse, which included managing, organizing, and delivering inventory. I served on a day camp instructor team responsible for teaching up to 10 children to surf and paddle board. I also operated a bait shop and snack bar where I was able to expand my knowledge and skills.
As a student caller I solicited donations from past graduates, family and friends of The University of Alabama which help to provide alumni programming and scholarships to outstanding students.
As a nanny for a family friend, I was responsible for a five-year-old girl 40 hours/ week. I planned a balanced schedule of recreation and learning, including swim lessons, cooking lessons, crafts and field trips.
