Fall 2014 - Fall 2016
The six-week leadership program focused on developing leadership skill in first-year students. Some of the skills I obtained were working with others, valuing a diverse community preparation to make a difference at Wittenberg, and be an effective leader before and after graduation. From this program, I developed into an individual that was seen as an approachable and a reliable source on campus.
Giving tours to perspective students, directing perspective students to on-campus activities and locations, aid with scholarship days and athletic events. This on-campus job opportunity has been one of the most beneficial because it has helped me improve on my communication skills with strangers and coworkers. Not only am I able to relay important and factual knowledge about the school I attend and work for, but also I am able to make a connection with each individual I meet.
