Katie Hitchcock

I am a currently a senior at the University of Iowa working towards two B.A.s: one in English and the other in Religious Studies. Soon I will begin my senior honors thesis, where I plan on exploring on the intersection of religion and literature in Marilynne Robinson's works. During the summer of 2016 I will be pursuing an research as an ICRU fellow. Along with professor and co-fellow we will be examining the role of the Jew in medieval England and generating an interactive 3D map with the aesthetics of medieval cartography. I will be working on generating content to go with the map explaining the role of the Jew and various conflicts in a time and place where Jews were technically expelled from. While being a full-time student, I also work part-time as softlines team member at Target. I currently plan on pursuing a Masters of Library and Information Sciences after completing my undergraduate career.
