I am Kayla Atcheson and when I graduate from GSW I plan to be an amazing Band Director to show kids and the community how music can be a safe haven for people who may not be in a stable place. Throughout my life, my music career was the only thing that helped me grow and soon I was inspired to become a band director by my Sophmore year in High School. By the support and determination of myself and my teachers and peers, I soon discovered myself and what I can be with the right mindset. I was in FCCLA, Senior Beta, Marching Band, Concert Band, Leadership, Senior Apprentice. I was always someone to count on if anything needed to be done. I am hoping that I will continue to do great things through the good and the bad.
