Pride Dance Team
I was a part of the Pride Dance Team (PDT) for 4 consecutive years, being a captain for one. PDT is a club sport that performs during half-time at football, and basketball games. As well as, performing in PDT's annual showcase fundraiser, other college showcases upon invitation, and competing in annual regional competitions.
Spring of 2019, myself and PDT competed in a nationals competition for the FIRST time in Springfield College, Pride Dance Team History. The competition took place in what better city, than Las Vegas. I could compare my nationals experience to stepping foot on Springfield Colleges campus for the first time as an official student. Both times I felt euphoric and unstoppable. I believed I could accomplish anything. Springfield College and PDT provided me with resilience. PDT will always leave me with the memory of the best moments of my life. Because of PDT, I can always look back, and be grateful.
