Keighan Chapman

Majored in Education
Castleton University, Class of 2013
From Jamaica, VT
I graduated from Castleton State College with a Masters in Education in November 2013. I am a new teacher living in Vermont. When I am not reflecting on my teaching practices, I am reading. I recently finished American Brutus and have picked up Team of Rivals and 1861: an Awakening. I was hired in the Summer of 2013 to teach Humanities at The Long Trail School in Dorset, Vermont. Humanities is a blended course that treats both elements of Language Arts as well as the sub-fields of Social Studies. I am an active member of the Vermont Geographic Alliance and recently participated in the NEGEN leadership conference in Mystic Connecticut and NESTVAL annual Conference in Worcester, MA.
