Benjamin Keller

I consider myself a highly driven individual with a fantastic work ethic. I'm currently a microbiology major at Miami University, and loving every second of it. I'm working in one of the research labs on campus. I'm hoping to come up with my own research proposal and do my own research sometime my sophomore year. I have aspirations to one day work is some sort of physician. As for my life outside of academics I am a gear head, if it's got a V8 I love it. I am currently doing a partial restoration on a 1965 Oldsmobile 98 convertible. With every day that I work on my car I have a greater understanding of why each individual piece works and how it works. I would like to think that I do the same thing as I attend classes and spend time working in the lab. I dream of one day having near complete understanding of not just how the human body works but why it does the things it does, on top of that I will always be connecting concept backed my car. I mean if you think about it the carburetor is the heart, the intake manifold is the arteries, the cylinders are the cells, and the exhaust system it's kind of like the veins.
