Kelly Souza

I am a Senior at Tufts University majoring in Child Study and Human Development. I have always had a strong interest in working with children, especially as a medical professional. By pursuing a career in Pediatric Occupational Therapy I believe I will be able to work with many amazing children to improve their lives, and their families'. I am seeking opportunities for exposure to health and child care from many angles. In the past I have shadowed a pediatrician, assisted at a hippotherapy and PT/OT children's clinic, and been a substitute teacher for children aged 0-5. These experiences have offered me many perspectives of careers with children, and helped me determine my goals as a future OT. I believe seeing the processes of childcare from the homes to schools to clinics can make me a better professional, and I welcome any and all resources.
