Kelly Carman

I am a Wild Animal Keeper at the Queens Zoo in Flushing Meadow Park. Our zoo houses North American and South American animals and has a very large petting zoo. I get to work with all of these animals! I have been a primary Sea Lion trainer for our eldest male Sea Lion, Butch, for almost 10 years. I am an AFA certified Aviculturist as well. I also recently became the AZA Golden Conure Regional Studbook Keeper and SSP Coordinator and completed Population Management I in November 2014. I graduated from Long Island University at Southampton College in 2002 with BA in Psychology and a minor in Theatre
