Kia Shields
Educators should be role models for their students. I want to be an example and a facilitator for my students. Learning about their interests and learning styles will make my teaching methods very effective. Lecturing and taking notes appeals to just one type of student and is not so effective with elementary students. Group activities and projects appeal to all students learning styles. As an educator, I want to have solid student and teacher relationships, encourage curiosity and appeal to all students by incorporating their learning styles with enthusiasm.
