Kristen Kelsall was recognized for a research project
The Chemistry Department at LVC is happy to offer Research First, a program that provides opportunities for incoming LVC freshmen to work with college faculty/student research teams during the summer before their freshman year of college. This is a 40 hour per week immersion experience in scientific research. A limited number of incoming LVC freshmen are selected for this program. Kristen Kelsall synthesized palladium nanoparticles in Dr. Marsh's lab.
An affiliate of the American Chemical Society, the Chemistry Club is open to all interested students. The mission of the club is the professional, academic, and social development of its members through participation in chemical symposia, student mentoring programs, and departmental-wide seminar series.
