Hello everyone and welcome to my Merit page. I am a non-traditional student who re-enrolled after first going to college in 2006. I have had a fulfilling career as a screenwriter, author, actress, and director for the last 17 years but I wasnt able to graduate from my previous college and I do not like leaving things unfinished. So, I came back in the Fall of 2022 to complete my English major, but found out I am naturally gifted in Accounting and decided to seek a dual major. On the personal side I am a single mother to a 7-year old daughter and I run an acting studio as well as a publishing imprint, franchise fitness studio, and a production company. My passion is in the arts but I also love business and have been blessed to make it this far on my second foray into seeking a degree. I am juggling a lot, but its all worth it to be able to say I went for the impossible and made it possible. I have little eyes looking up at me, and its important for her to know that everything is within her reach and that its never too late to rewrite your story.
