September, 13 2017 - Ohio Christian UniversityThis is a new team just beginning their softball careers. Schedule tournament and practices. Working with young athletes on the fundamentals of the game, mechanics and proper technique, sportsmanship, team bonding, and being good a good teammate. Working on listening skills, being cooperative and receptive, staying focused to the best of their ability and being respectful to coaches, umpires, competitors and their parents. This is a fall/summer travel team competing in local softball tournaments with winter conditioning and practices. This is a volunteer position.
Coordinate with the varsity and junior varsity softball head coaches in open gyms, practices and games. Instill appropriate sports ethics to student athletes; assist with college recruiting as needed; teach and help improve the fundamentals of softball; keep stats in scorebook if needed: work with umpires, school staff, opposing teams, parents, student athletes and the community. This is a volunteer position during the spring high school season.
Assist teachers with the daily lesson plans teaching students with special needs. Fill in for the teacher as needed; assist with academics, personal hygiene, daily living skills; de-escalate behavioral situations; maintain and submit daily reports; document daily progress and give input for IEP meetings; supervise lunch and recess; participate in required trainings, maintain confidentiality and perform other related duties as assigned.
Assist the head coach with tryouts and team selection; teach the fundamental aspects of fastpitch softball through practices, games and individual training; assist with the college recruiting process; assist with scheduling tournaments; meet with umpires, opposing teams. This is a volunteer position that begins with fall tournaments, winter conditioning and practices with games/tournaments taking place most weekends June through August.
Assist the head coach, teach the players fundamentals of softball. Help run open gyms and practices, coach and assist during school competitions. This is a volunteer position, prepping to move up to assistant coach, junior varsity.
Answer telephone, assist with customer orders, direct calls, assist with walk in customers. Perform other related duties as needed: catch shirts from dryer, fold and package orders. Took another job in my field of study but continue to fill in at Logo's as my work schedule allows (specifically winter break and the summer months.)

Evaluate players during tryouts, teach and coach the fundamentals of softball to young athletes, instill confidence and team work, be a positive role model, coordinate practice and game schedules, communicate with organization Director, assistant coaches, players, parents, tournament directors and umpires. Appropriately handle and allocate team funds such as paying for tournaments, collecting and paying for tournament shirts. This is a volunteer position that requires participation on a daily/weekly basis all year long.
Distribute summer lunches to low income or at risk kids in the school district. The program hands out approximately 130 lunches per day. This is a volunteer position.
Non profit agency, (through Troy Council of Churches) that provides services and assistance to the aging population, assists families in crisis, assists those coming out of crisis in the areas of vocational and financial stability and training, and assists parents with Christmas shopping for their children while they give back by volunteering within our community. Partners in Hope also works the City of Troy Government with building training opportunities in Poverty Simulation and other cultural issues, They assist with the School Backpack program as well as volunteer as an agency with the Troy City Schools summer lunch program, specifically serving at one of the low income housing complexes in Troy. This is a volunteer position through the practicum portion of my Psychology degree program.
Stock pantry shelves, refrigerators and freezers. Set up pantry prior to opening for patrons. This is a volunteer position once or twice a week. The pantry is through Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church.
Teach the fundamentals of softball to the 12u program through practices and games. Also, I work with pitching mechanics and technique to three pitchers. This is a volunteer position.
Supervise program leaders and assist children ages 6 to 12 in recreational activities during summer neighborhood sessions.
