Writing Consultant at Miami University

The Howe Writing Initiative (HWI) is a collaborative learning space that provides writers the opportunities to explore, revise, develop, and reflect on their writing and themselves as writers. I work to help my peers understand the value of collaboration, consultation, and conversation throughout the writing process. Mentor Farmer School of Business students on all aspects of professional writing. Work with ESL students to increase writing fluency. Collaborate with general business and entrepreneurial teams on pitches and presentations.

Marketing Director at Redhawk Ventures

Redhawk Ventures is a student-led venture capital organization at Miami University. We invest in student and alumni founded startups, allocating capital between $1,000 and $25,000. Our mission is to invest in startups across all industries with tremendous market opportunities founded by Miami's best. I currently serve as the Executive Marketing Director. In addition, I am the Project Lead for a premium organic chocolate bar company, Zella Chocolate. Consult student and alumni based startups. Source pitches from Miami's startup ecosystem. Created marketing campaign that built brand awareness and reached a broader audience.

Cincy Women in Tech (CWIT) is a Cincinnati-based networking group dedicated to building the next generation of women business & technology leaders. I have been fortunate enough to serve as their Marketing and Communications point person since January 2017. Conducted research surrounding female specific funding sources. Co-Founder of CleatGuard at CleatGuard LLC

CleatGuard is a product-based startup that derived from the Incubator EDU Program at Barrington High School in 2015. Our product is a low-profile guard that protects the bottom of athlete's cleats. CleatGuard defeats every inconvenience that cleats bring off the field by offering a fully functional alternative to taking off your shoes. Our goal is to save athletes the time, money and hassle of cleat-wearing off the field. Awarded pre-seed funding of nearly $30,000. Champion customer research and segmentation analysis. Collaborate with product developers and refiners from ideation to conception. Work with patent attorneys to create a patent application and receive patent pending status.
