Laura Howard

Laura Howard is a Program Officer for Public Programs and Special Events for the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences. Prior to joining the Center she spent four years working at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Seattle. There, she managed fundraising and educational events for the Washington and Alaska region. Before working at the Foundation she spent four years teaching filmmaking at Chicago Public Schools with the non-profit organization Free Spirit Media. Laura holds a BA in Communications from Northwestern University and a MA in Biology from Miami University. A lifelong lover of all things natural, she grew up in Minnesota digging up salamanders and chasing frogs and has now translated her love of nature and background in filmmaking into a YouTube Channel for children, "Diggin' Into Nature with Laura."
