We help nurses and physicians with procedures at the bedside as well as perform hygiene, check blood glucose levels, phlebotomy, EKGs, prep open heart surgery patients, recover heart catheterizations and PCIs, and perform frequent vitals sign checks. This experience has contributed significantly to my education at Elmira College and allowed me to learn so much in the field of nursing.
