Laurie Ann Taylor, soprano, has performed frequently as a concert soloist and in operatic productions. She currently studies with acclaimed counter tenor David Daniels at the University of Michigan. This summer she has been engaged to sing Pamina and cover Helena with the Janiec Opera Company at the Brevard Music Festival. In May 2015, she was one of fifteen participants chosen among hundreds of applicants at Houston Grand Opera's prestigious Young Artist Vocal Academy (YAVA). She has also performed with the Castleton Festival, CCM Summer Opera Studio, Harrower Opera Workshop, and the Amalfi Coast Music Festival. She graduated summa cum laude from Emory University, where she completed her B.A. in music with minors in religion and Italian studies and studied with Bradley Howard.
