January, 27 2021 - Verified by Kennesaw State UniversityI was a hostess greeting and interacting with guests. I was the first person guests interact with when they walk through the door. I kept the restaurant welcoming and upbeat. I learned skills such as communication, organization, customer service, as well as problem solving skills. I worked between 30 and 45 hours a week.
During last semester and summer, I worked as an assistant Pre-K teacher at The Primrose School. I learned how to care for the children, as well as create bonds with their families. This year I worked 10 hour shifts 3 days a week to work around my online school schedule.
For 2 summers during high school, I was a full-time lifeguard with Swim Atlanta Pool Management. I worked normally 6 or 7 days a week for 5-hour shifts. I was certified in CPR, AED and first aid.
I worked at the Primrose School as an assistant teacher for Pre-k and Kindergarten age children. I also worked as an infant caretaker with several other women where I fed, changed, and took care of approximately 19 infants aged 5 weeks to 12 months. Due to school, I quit working in October of 2018 and resumed in March of 2019. I worked 5 days a week for 6 hours a day.
