Leo Melody joined the Valdosta State University faculty in Fall 2014. He holds a Master of Education in adult and career education and Bachelor of Science in education with a concentration in technical, trade, and industrial education, both from Valdosta State University; a Bachelor of Science in environmental sciences with a concentration in natural resources and conservation from Southern New Hampshire University; and an Associate of Science in electronics and computer engineering technology from Grantham University. He holds membership in the Camden County Chamber of Commerce Workforce Development Committee and the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education. Prior to entering the field of higher education, he worked in submarine electronics in the United States Navy.
