Lisa McDonald

Since 1998, Lisa McDonald has been a champion for education, just not necessarily her own. Before launching on her own path of education in the spring of 2011, she dedicated all her energy towards homeschooling her children, Hannah Joy and Joshua Christian. With her children now grown, Lisas enthusiasm is turning her longtime dreams into goals, and goals into realities. Lisa graduated from Roane State College with a 4.0 GPA, and a degree in Contemporary Management. She was the recipient of several local scholarships as well as a finalist for many national scholarships. She is currently enrolled at Bryan College pursuing her B.S. in Organizational Management with a HR minor. Lisa is an active member Beta Alpha Chi, local chapter of the International honors society of Phi Theta Kappa. www.ptk.org/ She was proud to be chosen to represents Roane State as a member on the TN All-Academic Team 2012. www.ptk.org/resources/all-state/members/TN Her hobbies include tennis, driving her Z3 sports coupe and spending time with her family. Lisa is married to Sean, and greatly appreciates his support in reaching these educational goals.
