As a full-time student in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development at Southern New Hampshire University, I have developed a unique blend of theoretical and practical knowledge and experience that I believe allows me to bring immense value and change to any organization or team I join. My expertise spans from academic to career-related. Through my specialized degree, I know I am well-equipped with the principles and applications of evidence-based therapies and practices, conducting psychological assessments, and designing organizational interventions. I am especially passionate about how theory and research can influence social work, policymaking, and advocacy to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. As a student, I have been actively participating in service-learning initiatives and extracurricular activities, including joining a club dedicated to fighting for social justice. As a child development expert, I am also involved in raising awareness and advocating for the rights of children worldwide. The knowledge and insights from my studies have enabled me to hone my project management, marketing, and Community Outreach skills. I conduct effective research, present, explore and promote various ideas, draw up knowledge-driven recommendations and action plans, and render a service to communities and wider society. I am highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and target short-term goals. To fulfill my career aspirations, I focus on marketing and communication approaches to increase awareness, establish relationships and networks, and build a larger platform for sharing stories and data. I also develop creative strategies and campaigns to promote and further Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Through fundraising, I have been able to successfully tap resources, increase funding and support causes related to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Similarly, I leverage my interpersonal and problem-solving skills to create interactive programs, events, and campaigns that bring change. Given this set of expertise and impressive portfolio, I am now determined to serve as a change-maker and engage in social impact projects. I am looking for an opportunity to further my knowledge, sharpen my skills, and put them to use for the greater good. On an individual level, I am devoted to lifelong learning and growth. Apart from completing my Psychology degree, I am in the process of obtaining a certification in legal and ethical marketing. I am also passionate about working for and volunteering for causes close to my heart. In conclusion, I am confident in my expertise and thoroughly excited to join an organization that opens the doors to meaningful and impactful changes. Leveraging my academic and career-readiness skills and furthering my knowledge, I take on challenges to bring long-lasting, positive change. I am on a mission to bring meaningful change to the world!
