Louis Williams

Majored in Computer Science
Georgia Institute of Technology, Class of 2017
From Atlanta, GA
I am pursuing a Computer Science degree at Georgia Tech, and have had a variety of internships along the way. I am currently the flight software lead for PROX-1, which will likely be Georgia Tech's very first nanosatellite mission to space. My experience is mainly centered around full-stack web development, but I have a newly found interest in distributed systems after working with Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra, and other cutting-edge technologies. I am passionate about building useful and novel things with software, and I love solving problems, especially discovering new solutions to existing problems. I am known to work on my app called QueueUp, which is a playlist-streaming service, ideal for social settings, that lets users collaborate in real-time. I am developing the back-end and Android application (on Google Play) with a friend who is developing the iOS version.
