Warehouse Associate at Frito Lay
Pull, analyze, and plan against a demand resource planning need sheet - in effect seeing what products of over 350-line items are at risk of being unavailable to ship from orders to stores. Use Pick Work Manager to create a line-item, or sequenced list of item demand for the day's shipments. Walking those locations to ensure system inventory matches physical inventory, making sure that the site can cover the requested volume. Check an Inventory Control Rule filter within SAP daily- This is used to cut, substitute, or add selected products to certain orders or routes. ICR filter is checked to verify that it "hit" or impacted the expected quantity of orders for the day. Trip and release orders within SAP-releasing individual orders, written from the salesperson's mobile handheld, into total "batches" that are picked via voice command technology within the warehouse. Run Inventory Control System rotations- to assist in understanding on product tracking, rotation, and freshness. The product code or unique numeric designator is used to see all locations that said product is stored in the facility & make sure that the rotation of products follows FIFO inventory practices. Pick appropriate cases according to order, place orders on carts to be loaded on to trucks for final phase of distribution. Load and unload pallets with product from trailers to appropriate warehouse location. Unload trailers of incoming product onto pallets to be stored into correct locations in the warehouse. Complete weekly warehouse inventory check, to ensure all cases of product are accounted for. Ensure that missing or damaged items are also accounted for and correctly fix the inventory count within SAP.
